For proper treatment, recovery and recycling, please take these products to designated collection points, where they will be accepted on a free of charge basis. RoHS The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) aims to minimise the environmental impact of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) by reducing the quantities of four heavy metals and two brominated flame retardants which it may contain. Products placed on the EU market on or after 1 July 2006 may not contain more than the specified limits of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). The components used in the manufacturing of the Sun Jar do not use the certain hazardous substances identified in the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. The Sun Jar is compliant with this Directive 2002/95/EC.

CE (EU only) CE marking is a declaration by the manufacturer that the product meets all the appropriate provisions of the relevant legislation implementing certain European Directives. CE marking gives companies easier access into the European market to sell their products without adaptation or rechecking. The initials "CE" do not stand for any specific words but are a declaration by the manufacturer that his product meets the requirements of the applicable European Directive(s). CE marking only applies to products within the scope of these Directives, many items do not fall under the scope of CE at all.
